Гавань Jagger нефрита личная в Ibiza! в процессе

Welcome to the home of jewellery designer Jade Jagger, set in the unassuming village of Sant Joan on the North side of the famous island of Ibiza. Here she has created her own personal haven away form the madness of the party season.

Her Lapis pool, clearly influenced by the metaphoric rock she uses in her designs!(credit)

At first Jade was reluctant to even think about Ibiza as a home, but 8 years ago she came here with her then only child Assisi because she wanted to raise her in a sunny climate away from the unpredictable English weather.

A breathtaking entrance into her enchanting home life!

She wanted a European paradise away from the hustle and bustle of tourism yet somewhere funky and stylish. She chose San Joan because of the residents, who are manly locals but also a scattering of expat artists, and it also has a very good British school. Sant Joan is also far enough away from the influx party animals that come over year after year.

Locally sourced objects adorn her home!

Her bohemian style is reflected in her home alongside her great creative mind which has now made her Creative Director of London based elite Jewellers Garrard. With all the available flights to London and just a 2 hour hop it makes it easy for her to pop back to the London office when necessary.

Little reminders of the island’s reputation!

Her 500 year old Spanish finca does however house certain elements reminiscent of the island’s reputation and her love of entertaining. Her palm trees are a decorated with disco balls and for guests she has placed teepees to the rear of the house typifying her love of the bohemian way of life.

Eccentric objects and wall art reflect her passion for unique items and her rebellious streak!

Her home is enchanting with lots of unusual artefacts she has carefully chosen, but also remind us of her love of creating beautiful jewellery. The the doors open up to magnificent Spanish sunsets which she said made her decision to stay.

Poolside canopy beds are her main luxury!

She wanted an outdoor lifestyle for herself and her children Assisi 19 and Amba 15, and somewhere to inspire her designs. Her walls are covered with local religious artefacts from local store owner Neil Ahern who offers eccentric one off pieces. She also shops in a local vintage store and paints and does sketches herself to help her creative mind develop some of the most beautiful jewellery popular with celebrities all over the world.

Throughout her home it offers various rhapsodies!

Below Dan Williams her partner and friend enjoy her latest designs while enjoying the rest of the stunning views!

Admiration of her work as well as the Ibizan landscape!

She claims to have not been a trust fund kid and started her road to her jewellery design career by being kicked out of boarding school yet went on to achieve A levels at Cambridge 6th form school. Her career started with Jade inc, where her designs were commended and since 2001 has developed her career at Garrard. Daughter of Mick Jagger and Nicaraguan model mother Bianca it was clear she would have no ordinary life. She has travelled all over the world, born in Paris, lived in London yet spent most of her life with Bianca in Manhatten, New York where she gained influence in art from her very well known babysitter Andy Warhole.

From dull and boring to cool outside living space to enjoy. The following backyards are now areas to dine alfresco, entertain, or simply chill out.

There seems to be far too many mis-matched elements here, like the uneven patio, odd pots, different colored furniture, waste of usable space and no real design plan!

The new style patio is now level and makes more use of the whole available space. The small mexican pebbles show off the arty paving, these have also been used on the fountain feature!

The fountain island feature plays a focal point in this yard makeover and becomes a center showpiece. A bit of imagination and organisation has created a stunning outdoor living place to enjoy.

This backyard is boring and dull with nothing going on except a show of utilities. It appears as a lifeless patch of grass against a very plain concrete wall. It needs a personality to bring it to life and become somewhere to enjoy in the good weather.

After, the stained patio sets off the contemporary new look and the cool high tech trellis covers up the utilities and contrasts perfectly with the new colorful wall. Nothing boring about this space now!

This garden may have a hot tub and impressive structure for shading from the sun but it’s too empty. It desperately needs some planning to take it from bland to beautiful.

Lots of color and interesting details have transformed this backyard into something special. Mosaic tiling and carefully chosen vegetation and the structure over the hot tub give it purpose.

A generous empty space just going to waste!

The new design and planning takes you down a pretty pathway towards the ultra modern gazebo with fixed bench seating. This cool entertaining space will now become the talk of the neighborhood during BBQ season.

This old cabana and worn out patio makes this yard look and feel shabby!

Bamboo fencing and naturally sourced wood have been used to cover up the old cabana and dated link fencing. A new surface gives the patio a new contemporary look that shows off the cabana in style.

I hope you have become inspired by these before and after images to make the most of your outdoor living space, and remember it will add value to your home.
